This brave and inspiring group of singers took to the stage at a major international music festival to help them combat homelessness and other challenges.
Wrexham One Love Choir helps marginalised people develop confidence and self-esteem, and build fulfilment and purpose. Many of its members have personal experience of rough sleeping, adverse mental health and substance misuse conditions.
They wowed a crowd of hundreds at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, which welcomes many dozens of international choirs, music groups and dance companies each year.

The ensemble, which is hosted by rehab charity and Recovery Trust member CAIS, was established just a few months ago – but has already won lots of support from the community.
Singing together in a group has been shown to have significant benefits for mental health and wellbeing. Weekly practices, which include a hot meal, have already become like a family gathering for the group.
The choir was formed with the support of Wrexham MP Ian Lucas, community and church groups, and The Choir With No Name and has received vital funding support from the Steve Morgan Foundation, the National Lottery Community Fund and the North Wales Police and Crime Commissioner’s Your Community Your Choice scheme.
