Somewhere House
Fast, Effective Drug & Alcohol Rehab Clinic
Somewhere House is a residential rehabilitation centre for those seeking help with their addiction. We are monitored by the CQC for quality of care. We provide treatment and support for individuals who wish to make changes to their lives.
The organisation have both internal and external monitoring systems, externally monitored by the CQC; we are currently rated as good in the new system.
Through intensive group therapy, one to one counselling sessions, recovery studies and also lots of fun group activities which help to re establish structure, routine and self belief. Our team specialises in clients with additional complexities e.g mental health, eating disorders and all have extensive training in trauma work, process and CBT. We work with a holistic approach meaning we treat the whole person and because we are a small facility with a large staff to client ratio, can offer the highest levels of person centred care.
We will support every individual to work towards their own recovery goals but are also aware of the importance of having someone there to listen and support them.
Treatments Provided
Our residential programme is tailored to the individual, including 10 group therapy sessions weekly (30 hours total), a minimum of 2 hours one to one counselling weekly with our fully qualified and expert counselling team. Family and couples’ therapy, recovery studies, family support, workshops e.g. money management, alternative therapies (e.g. art, clay, music). Mid way through treatment, clients give back by doing voluntary work in the community, attending events and equine therapy. Mutual aid meetings are available in house and also in the community. Treatment can be tough so we balance this with fun activities, games on the beach, cinema trips, a day trip monthly and a mentoring programme. Clients are encouraged to seek education; we have links to colleges and a Universal Credit liaison worker is on hand to support with benefit queries.
Specialisms
We specialise in clients with complex needs or a dual diagnosis. Eating disorders, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, Trauma sufferers, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Criminal Record to name a few. Our facility is small, staff to client ratio is high and therefore our programme is individual and holistic, and we tailor your treatment accordingly. We also work with transgender, gender neutral, non-binary and LGBTQ clients.
